Meet the Counselors
Marilyn Culler, MA, LPC – Marilyn is a counselor and teacher having earned a BS in Elementary Education and a MA in Clinical Pastoral Counseling. She is licensed by the State of Ohio as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a K – 8th grade teacher. Both careers have provided her with experience in working with people of all ages, while professional counseling has given Marilyn the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples looking to apply a change in their lives. Many of these changes have been in the areas of anger management, anxiety, depression, education, marital or relationship difficulties, and spirituality. Marilyn is a member of the American Counseling Association and is scheduling appointments at the Vermilion office of Lakeshore Educational & Counseling Services. |
Susan Fee M.Ed., PCC - Susan is a counselor, business coach, adjunct college instructor, and author. She has a BA in Communications and a M.Ed. in Counseling. She is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor. Her experience in communications includes classroom teaching and educational presentations for a variety of businesses and community organizations on topics such as interpersonal relationships, emotional intelligence, dealing with difficult people, and public speaking training. In private practice she works with adults and adolescents on life and career transitions, depression, anxiety, stress-related difficulties, eating disorders, self-injury, and interpersonal conflict. She is the author of the college survival guide My Roommate Is Driving Me Crazy! She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Ohio Counseling Association. Susan is also the founder of Circle of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. a social skill development course for girls ages 8-14 teaching self-esteem and assertive communication. Cheryl Gerber LISW-S - is recognized as a Licensed Independent Social Worker
with supervisory designation by the State of Ohio. She received both her BSSW
and MSW from The Ohio State University. Cheryl has over 10 years experience
working with diverse populations and diagnoses in the community mental health
field. Specialty areas of experience include anger management, assertiveness
training, trauma victims, co-dependency, male and female survivors of sexual
abuse, borderline personality disorder, and crisis intervention. She utilizes
cognitive/behavioral and solution-focused approaches to help her clients achieve
their goals. Cheryl is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
She enjoys helping clients learn how to best care for themselves and improve
functioning. She works with Lakeshore Educational and Counseling Services
scheduling appointments in Vermilion, Ohio.

Judi Fischer MA, PCC-S - Judi is the President of Lakeshore Educational & Counseling Services. She is a counselor, educator, consultant, adjunct college instructor. She has a BS in Education and an MA in Clinical Pastoral Counseling. She is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory designation. In her private practice she works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families experiencing loss, life transitions, depression, anxiety, relational conflicts, self-esteem difficulties, stress related problems and spiritual concerns. Judi teaches Professional Communication locally for the Business and Management Programs at Indiana Wesleyan University. Thomas O'Reilly, MS, PCC-S - Thomas is the Owner and President of A Better Way and provides Drug-Free Workplace Training to companies who seek to have or currently have a Drug-Free Workplace Program for their employees. He is a counselor, mediator, public speaker/trainer. He holds a BS in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron. He is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation. His 11 years of experience in mediation includes domestic mediation with parties going through a divorce, truancy mediation at schools and court-ordered domestic violence mediation, as well as training in civil mediation and transformative mediation. His 14 years of counseling practice has included work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, geriatrics, those experiencing loss, a wide array of emotional and personal issues, and spiritual concerns. Thomas has worked as a Substance Abuse Therapist for over 5 years, both in residential and outpatient settings, and also currently works part-time as a Clinical Screener at Portage Path Behavioral Healthcare Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES), dealing with severely mentally disturbed patients. Ronald A. Possy, LICDC - Ron is licensed by the State of Ohio as an Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. He has over 31 years of extensive experience working in multiple alcohol/drug treatment modalities, specializing in treatment for the adult population. He volunteers on the Lake Erie Addictions Board of Directors, serving as Treasurer. He is proud to have served in the U.S. Navy. Jim W. Rosecrans MS, LMHC, LICDC - Jim has over 20 years of clinical experience. He received his Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. Thomas University Miami, Florida and he is currently a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. Jim has worked in the fields of mental health and addictions with adolescents and adults in various settings including residential and outpatient treatment centers, private practices and the court system. Debra Tkac MA, PCC-S - Debra has a MA in Community Counseling from Kent State University and is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation. She has provided community mental health services for over 15 years, working with adolescents, adults and families. Debra specializes in anxiety, depression, stress management, communication skills, and problems in daily living. She frequently works with cognitive behavioral techniques, as well as a holistic approach which includes self, environment, supports and spirituality. Debra has also worked with victims of physical and sexual abuse. Michele Weber M.Ed., LPCC - Michele has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Community Agency Counseling. She is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory designation. She has special training in Family Counseling, Mediation and Conflict Resolution, HIV/AIDS Counseling, Women's Issues in Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Counseling. Michele has received training in play therapy, facilitated adolescent groups and represented the county in courtroom abuse and neglect cases. Her volunteer activities include; Meals on Wheels, school organizations and Habitat for Humanity.
